As we prepare our hearts during this time of Advent, we reflect on times we have failed our God during the year. We may also see how we pleased Him with the work of our hands. Seek His favor. How have you failed Him? How have you pleased Him with your work, followed Him, and been in His favor? Wrong steps may be corrected while moving forward. Be mindful of your work.

May the favor[a] of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.
