I'm New

Planning on Visiting?

Visiting a new church can be a daunting experience, but we’re here to help! At Kennesaw Methodist, we’ve put together a special page to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable. We’re thrilled to have you and your loved ones join us, and we can’t wait to extend a warm welcome to you all!

At our church, we offer two unique worship experiences every week. Our modern worship service, led by the dynamic Modern Praise Team, is an energetic and intimate gathering that will lift your spirits. For those looking for a more traditional experience, our engaging worship service features the beautiful voices of the Chancel Choir, familiar hymns, and prayers of our faith. We welcome you to join us and experience the joy and comfort of worshiping together in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

What to Expect

What about our children?

At Kennesaw Kids, we extend a warm welcome to children ranging from newborns to those in 5th grade. We offer a range of age-appropriate stories, music, games, crafts, and activities that are specially designed to introduce them to Jesus and develop a lifelong relationship with Him.

Our child check-in system is designed to ensure the safety of your child, while also making the drop-off and pick-up process a convenient and hassle-free experience for you.

Is there a dress code?

The short answer is no. Obviously shoes, shirts, and pants are a must, but we welcome you to come as you are and worship comfortably.

Where should I park?

As you enter our church campus, turn left to park in our large parking lot that is adjacent to our playground and sanctuary. If you are planning to attend our traditional worship at 10 am, you may enter our building through entrance door B or through the doors by the front of the church by the front lawn.

If you are planning to attend our modern worship service at 11 am, you may enter our building through entrance door C under the purple “Modern Worship” banners.

We have plenty of handicap parking around our campus. If you are a senior, you may park in our small parking lot by our main church office by entrance door A.

Is Sunday School available?

Yes, we have three Sunday School classes that meet on Sunday mornings as follows:

Friends in Faith – Room 138 at 8:45 am (Mixed Age)

The class is comprised of both married couples and single adults. A variety of study materials are used to guide discussions on discipleship and daily Christian living.

George Skelton/Elton Adams– Room 137 at 9:00 am (Senior Adults)

Senior adult Sunday School class with lessons based off the readings in the Bible.

Aldersgate on Zoom and room 142 at 11:15 am (Mixed Age)

-Most of our study material is directly Bible based along with studies focused on the Christian life. Our lessons use discussion rather than teaching to help us grow in our faith.
