Ladies Lenten Walk

Lent is a special time of waiting and reflection. Lent comes from the Anglo Saxon word Lenten, which means “spring.” It is a time to prepare our hearts and minds for the last days Jesus lived and the first days of His resurrection and gift of eternal life! Taking intentional time for reflection is an important part in making Lent more meaningful. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent.  Taking time for introspection and reflection is an important element in making Lent more meaningful.

Ladies, begin your Lenten Journey on Ash Wednesday, February 14 at Kennesaw Mountain.  All women are welcome. Church affiliation is not required. We will meet at the Visitor’s Center at Kennesaw Mountain located at 900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30152 at 9:15 am.  We will have a beginning devotion before we start and another at the top. If you choose not to hike, you can drive to the top and meet us there.  In the busyness of our everyday lives, take time on Ash Wednesday to begin your Lenten journey in an intentional walk of reflection.
